Went to pick up Hayfa

Hayfa: “soo how was your first day”

Noura: “Good but I was late kella mnik”

Hayfa: “Well mine was fine thanks for asking”

Noura: “Let’s go somewhere I’m starving”

Hayfa: “ There’s a near Starbucks, wanna go?”

Noura: “Ya sure”

So we called out a taxi. We were walking towards the taxi as a stranger da5al w bada ygoola where to go, Hayfa was busy texting as I started yelling “ HEY THAT’S ARE CAB!!” .The guy turned around “Ohh sorry, Noura walla mastw3abt”

Noura: “Ooh Khalid, la 5la9 nevermind”

Khalid: “Where are you guys heading to?”

Noura: “The nearest Starbucks”

Khalid: “What a coincidence I’m meeting my friend there, hop in”

Noura: “ La 3adii we could stop another cab”

Khalid: “ La walla I insist”

I got in and Hayfa came in after, It was pretty awkward since I sat in the middle between Hayfa and Khalid. Hayfa started pinching my thigh wanting me to introduce her. “So Khalid hathi e5ty Hayfa”

Khalid: “Tasharfna b.ma3reftik”

Hayfa had the big smile on her face. I got a text from her saying “Allah noura he’s hot kam 3emra?”

Me: “Wallahy madrii we’re not best friends you know”

Hayfa: “ask him, ask him”

Me: “la you ask him”

Hayfa: “okay okay”. And she Stopped texting

Hayfa: “So Khalid esh tedres?”

Khalid: “I study engineering”

Hayfa: “Ooh mashalla, ay year?”

Khalid: “My 2^nd year”

Me: “Ooh walla?, I thought you were foundation ma3ay”

Khalid: “Haha la”

Me: “How come you were in Professor Robertson’s class?”

Khalid: “I’m taking his geometry class”

We arrived to our destination; Hayfa took out her wallet to pay the driver

Hayfa: “Noura shoofi kam”

Khalid: “La hw I will pay”

Me: “La 3adii we could split it”

Khalid: “La la I have to”

Me: “Okay then Hayfa get out”

We went in together

Hayfa: “Noura yalla there’s an empty table, thanks Khalid by the way”

Me: “Okay yalla, bye and thanks again”

Khalid: “See you, la 3adii wesh da3wa”. As soon as we started walking Khalid got a text massage from his friend saying “ Hey sorry running late”. I went to order, and I saw Khalid sitting alone. I went over and said, “Where’s your friend?”

Khalid: “He’s running late”

Me: “Wanna join us?”

Khalid: “La 3adii, I’m sure he’s on his way by now”

Me: “Haha I insist come sit”

Khalid: “Ya sure”

We got our orders and started talking about random stuff until his friend came.

Khalid: “Yalla I got to go my friend just came”

Hayfa: “Bye it was nice meeting you”

Me: “See you tomorrow”
